As I head out, I'd thought I'd post this picture of my grandparents, Joy and Stephen Carre.This picture was likely taken on their wedding day, February 24, 1937. I really like it because they look so handsome, happy and relaxed and it comes across as timeless (except for the car of course). And very Canadian. Look at the snow. Can you imagine February in Barkerville, BC? A tad different from what we'll be expecting for Meredith and Anil's wedding in Melbourne!
